We crashed at the end of the season because we couldn't defend on set pieces any better than we did in the first part of the season. If we had won 1/2 og the games we tied or lost dues to crappy defending, we'd have won the league! We also crashed because Cesc wasn't at his best, Nasri and Chamakh had dried up and the younger gunners were dispirited and lacked leaders to kick their pampered arses into shape on and off the field. RVP was a marvel in the last 18 games and Szcesny,Jack, Walcott and Sagna were as solid as can be but AW didn't have anyone on the bench or in the field to lift the Arsenal's game. Useless cunts like Denilson, Diaby, Squillaci, Almunia, Bendtner and such were simply deadweights. Despite leading the injury league all season, having some of our best youth players out on loan and getting royally buggered by the occasional bad referee decision, we were always in for total possession, far more chances than the opponents and hitting the crossbar almost twice as often as our adversaries. Here's hoping that the defensive and attacking issues get resolved.weedonaldnoreply@blogger.com
